This project was started in December 1999 to help feed the needy, working poor and the jobless in our community. We serve lunch every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in our church gym. We have served as many as 60 people on a Wednesday but our average is between 30 and 40 people per week. Other churchs come to our church on the third Wednesday of each month to prepare and serve the meal. Our hope is that there will be other churches in our community that will do this other days of the week so the needy, working poor and the jobless will be fed more than one day a week.
