Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! Ps 98

Our music ministry at St. Paul is dedicated to educating and developing the congregation culturally and spiritually through a variety of music styles; both vocal and instrumental. We strive to engage and inspire worshippers by proclaiming God's word through liturgy, anthems, hymns and songs. There are multiple opportunities offered at St. Paul for all age groups to worship through music.

Senior Choir

The Senior choir plays an integral role in our worship by leading the congregational singing and reiterating the gospel through choral anthems. The choir currently consists of about fifteen singers, and is seeking new members. The Senior choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Marvin Dalton, Director

Handchime Choir

The Handchime choir enhance the worship experience by performing on specific Sunday mornings, playing chimes. The group consists of about twelve members and is currently seeking new members. The Handchime choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30. Peggy Follrod, Director

Special music

St. Paul has been blessed with a congregation containing many talented musicians, both singers and instrumentalist. It is our desire to utilize these talents by incorporating special music of this sort into our worship services. New Opportunity

We plan to explore and begin a new format of worship with a variety music forms and styles. The expectation is that this service will be informal, modern, family friendly, upbeat in tempo and filled with the Spirit!

Some basic needs: persons to play the keyboard, drums, acoustical and bass guitars. Also essential to this endeavor are persons to lead the singing at the service and others to form praise teams. We are also searching for other instrumentalists such as: trumpet, saxophone and other brass instruments; flute, clarinet and other wind instruments; violins bass and other stringed instruments.

Exact dates and time for this service to begin or practice schedules have not been established. If interested, or want more information, contact the church office at 548-5770
